Privacy Policy

By using this site, you agree to this Privacy Policy. Digital Stronghold reviews its privacy policy periodically and reserves the right, at its discretion, to modify or remove portions of this policy at any time. This page should be reviewed periodically so that you are updated on any changes. In the event we amend our policy, we will use previously collected information in accordance with the policy under which it was collected.

Information Collection and Use. In order to use this website, the user must at times provide contact information such as name, address, company name, email address, phone number and fax number and financial information including credit card number, expiration date, and verification code. This information is used by Digital Stronghold and its related entities for billing purposes and to fulfill customer orders only. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to any third party or information collection organization, nor will we ever use this information for sending bulk unsolicited emails (spam). It is used solely for the administration of your Digital Stronghold account.

Log Files. We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. These statistics are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Site and Service Updates. We will send the user site and service announcement updates. Members are not able to un-subscribe from service announcements, which contain important information about their service. We communicate with the user to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account via email or phone.

Public Whois information. The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) requires accurate, current contact information to be submitted to the public whois database for each domain name registered. You have the option of using our privacy service to hide your personal information when registering a domain, however, in the event that you choose not to enable privacy protection your domain contact information is not protected by this privacy policy. Please be aware of the privacy implications of having your name, address and phone number readily accessible to anyone on the Internet.

Domain Name Front Running. Domain name front running is the practice of stealing someone's domain name search queries and either selling off that data to a third party or scooping up their domain before they can finish registering it themselves. We absolutely never engage in the front running of domain names as we find the practice to be extremely objectionable. We will never share your searches with any third parties or register a domain that you are currently researching. All domain queries are encrypted by SSL to keep anyone from snooping your searches. We do however suggest you register your domains quickly before someone else can take your idea!

Cookies. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. Digital Stronghold only uses cookies to remember you between visits to our site, and as you move between pages. We only store a unique identifying number in the cookie we send. We never store your username, password, credit card information, or any other personal information in a cookie. If a user rejects the cookie, their ability to use our site will be limited.

We do not track or collect personal browsing activity, nor do we resell or distribute any site visitor data, including information that may be collected as a natural by-product of your visit.

Security. This web site uses 128bit SSL encryption to insure that all transactions are made in safety and that all communications between your computer and this site will remain that way. While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of web browsers such as Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari and Microsoft Internet Explorer will become locked. It is only safe to submit information while the browser is in this locked state.

All sensitive information is encrypted and stored on hardened systems. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Furthermore, ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices.

Removal of Personal Information. Personal information that exists within a Digital Stronghold account will remain active until the member has requested that the account be deleted or until the account and the information contained within has been deleted during the routine deletion of dormant and unused member accounts. You can request removal of your Digital Stronghold account at our contact page.

If you have questions or concerns about this privacy policy, you can contact us at our contact page.
